Traveling through Newark Liberty International Airport with my family was an easy and comfortable experience, thanks in part to the convenient Newark Airport Smoking Area. My husband, who smokes occasionally, appreciated how easy it was to find these designated areas without wandering far from the terminal. As soon as we exited Terminal C, we saw the clearly marked smoking zones just outside the doors. The Newark Airport was clean, well-lit, and had plenty of ashtrays and seating. It made it very easy for my husband to step out for a quick smoke while the kids and I stayed inside close to baggage claim. The placement of the smoking areas outside meant that non-smokers like us weren’t affected, but smokers still had a comfortable space to relax. Having a safe and clean Newark Airport available truly made our arrival experience much smoother. We were able to stick together as a family without having to separate for long, which is especially important when traveling with young children. I really appreciated that Newark Airport considered all travelers' needs so thoughtfully.
