The Snowfield of Sorrow Sanctuary has arrived in Aion 2, bringing the highest difficulty level currently available among the game's PvE activities. The new content launched with the September 9 update and challenges players to defeat Storm Legion Commander Deltras for a collection of valuable rewards. The minimum entry requirement is 5,800 item level, while the requirement can rise to 6,200 based on difficulty. Players working toward stronger Aion 2 Items now have a challenging new destination where equipment, teamwork, and competitive ambition all matter.
Reaching the Required Item Level
Snowfield of Sorrow is clearly aimed at advanced players. The 5,800 minimum item-level requirement ensures that characters have already progressed significantly before entering the Sanctuary.
For groups seeking the highest difficulty, the requirement can increase to 6,200. This gives players a clear progression target even after they first qualify for entry. Improving equipment becomes an important part of preparing for the harder versions, especially for groups interested in competing for early-clear rewards.
Battling Storm Legion Commander Deltras
The main challenge is Storm Legion Commander Deltras. Defeating this boss is required to clear the Sanctuary and earn its associated rewards. Groups will need to combine their equipment strength with good communication and coordination.
The reward list includes Deltras's Seal, Berserk Fear Energy: [True] Weapons, Unleashed White Night Weapons, and Unleashed White Night Guards. These items provide meaningful incentives for players who want to continue pushing their characters after reaching the required entry level.
Chasing the First 20 Clears
Hard difficulty introduces a special race for the first 20 successful forces. NC has divided the rewards into several tiers based on completion order, making early clears particularly valuable.
The first successful force receives Pet: Golden Void and the title First to Shatter the Sword of Frost and Cold. The second through fifth forces receive Pet: Silver Void, while the remaining successful forces within the first 20 receive Pet: Bronze Void. Competitive groups therefore have a reason to prepare quickly and attempt the content early.
A More Social Dungeon Experience
The new Hall of Fame records information about the first three forces to successfully clear Snowfield of Sorrow. This gives top groups additional recognition and allows the community to follow the earliest successful runs.
NC has also introduced the commendation system to recognize players after completing the dungeon together. It activates automatically and offers five categories: Outstanding Skill, Reliable Guardian, Dedicated Support, Excellent Leadership, and Kind Mentor. The feature adds a positive social element to challenging group content by allowing players to highlight the teammates who contributed most effectively.
Taking on the Snowfield
The Snowfield of Sorrow gives Aion 2's endgame community a substantial new challenge. Players can work toward the 5,800 entry level, strengthen themselves toward the 6,200 threshold, pursue Deltras's equipment rewards, and compete for the first 20 Hard clears. The Hall of Fame and commendation features further expand the experience beyond ordinary dungeon completion.
For players preparing their characters and resources, Aion 2 Boosting can be considered as part of a broader progression approach. Once players enter the Sanctuary, however, preparation alone is not enough; defeating Deltras and achieving the best results will require a well-organized force and strong execution.
