Stage 4 of the Ascending the Mountain project brings the final major resource hunt to ARC Raiders, asking players to gather several specialized materials before claiming the project's top rewards. The Final Tweaks stage requires exploration across multiple maps, enemy encounters, crafting, and resource exchanges with Celeste. Players may also be managing ARC Raiders Coins during their wider progression, but completing this final stage is primarily about knowing where to farm each required material efficiently.

Understanding the Final Requirements

The Final Tweaks stage requires 30 Sensors, three Broken Guidance Systems, 15 Advanced Electrical Components, and three Vaporizer Regulators. Each resource has a different acquisition method, so simply wandering through raids is unlikely to be the most efficient strategy.

Before beginning, players should check their existing inventory and decide which materials can be crafted, purchased through exchanges, or collected directly. This is particularly important because backpack space is limited. Knowing exactly what you need prevents valuable project materials from being discarded when your inventory fills unexpectedly.

Finding Thirty Sensors

Sensors are the largest individual requirement, with 30 needed for Stage 4. Celeste provides one possible route, allowing players to exchange 10 seeds for one Sensor. This can be useful for players who have accumulated a substantial supply of seeds and want a predictable way to increase their total.

Sensors can also be found by searching server racks at Pilgrim's Peak on The Blue Gate and Launch Towers on the Spaceport maps. These locations should be prioritized during dedicated farming runs, particularly if you prefer gathering the materials directly rather than spending seeds.

Because 30 Sensors is a sizable requirement, combining both methods can be a practical approach. Use Celeste when your seed supply allows it, then supplement the remaining amount through targeted exploration.

Collecting Broken Guidance Systems

Three Broken Guidance Systems are needed, and the search is more focused than the Sensor hunt. These items can be found inside red lockers at the Hydroponic Dome Complex on the Dam Battlegrounds map.

Players should make the Hydroponic Dome Complex a dedicated stop when working on this objective. Since the project requires only three units, there is little reason to continue searching after the requirement is complete unless other useful objectives remain.

A focused route can also help conserve ammunition and reduce exposure to unnecessary encounters. Once the three Broken Guidance Systems are secured, prioritize getting them back to safety.

Crafting Advanced Components

Advanced Electrical Components require a mixture of crafting and exploration. Fifteen are needed, and each one can be crafted at the Refiner using three Wires and two Electrical Components. Producing all 15 from scratch therefore requires 45 Wires and 30 Electrical Components.

Players can also search ARC Probes, which spawn randomly across maps, for Advanced Electrical Components. This provides an alternative for players who do not have enough basic crafting supplies. Checking ARC Probes during ordinary exploration can gradually reduce the amount of crafting required.

Hunting Vaporizers

Three Vaporizer Regulators are required for the final stage. These can be obtained by destroying Vaporizers, which commonly appear on Riven Tides. They can also be encountered during the Close Scrutiny event.

This objective makes combat preparation important. Players should enter these encounters with appropriate equipment and enough inventory space for the regulators. Since only three are necessary, extracting once the requirement is completed is usually more valuable than continuing to take unnecessary risks.

Claiming the Final Rewards

Completing Stage 4 rewards players with the Hot Air Balloon Backpack Charm, Tactical MK3 Defensive Augment, Tempest Assault Rifle IV, and Kinetic Converter Attachment. The Tempest Assault Rifle IV provides a particularly meaningful equipment reward for reaching the end of the project.

Players who are also looking to buy ARC Items should consider their broader equipment needs separately from this project. The rewards from Final Tweaks already provide several useful additions, making the completion milestone worthwhile for players who have invested time into gathering the required materials.

Finishing Ascending the Mountain

The final stage rewards careful planning more than reckless farming. Sensors can be gathered through Celeste or targeted searches, Broken Guidance Systems come from red lockers, Advanced Electrical Components can be crafted or found through ARC Probes, and Vaporizer Regulators require Vaporizer encounters.

With the project deadline approaching, completing these objectives systematically is far more efficient than treating every raid as a random loot run. Organize your inventory, group objectives by map, and extract safely once the required materials are secured. This makes Final Tweaks a satisfying conclusion to the Ascending the Mountain project.
